pisces new moon ritual
Exciting news!
Starting in April, we’ll be gathering at Space every two weeks for an ongoing New Moon + Yoga Nidra and Full Moon Meditation + Sound series.
The intention is to create a small container where we can come together regularly and move through the lunar cycle in community - setting intentions during the new moon with yoga nidra (a guided meditation practiced lying down through different stages of relaxation) and releasing during the full moon through meditation, sound, and fire ceremonies.
I’m really excited to build this rhythm and community together.
If you’ve never tried yoga nidra before — or if you simply want a cozy evening with tea and blue lotus — join us on March 26th for a Yoga Nidra + Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony, a little preview of what’s to come when the series begins in April.
For this new moon, try a simple ritual.
Step outside at night and look up at the sky. Find one star that stands out to you.
Take a few deep breaths and think about something you truly want in your life right now — a wish, a dream, or an intention you want to grow.
Silently offer that wish to the star.
Then go back inside and spend a few minutes journaling about what came up for you.
Over the next couple of weeks, as the moon slowly grows brighter in the sky, come back to that same star whenever you can. Let it be a reminder of the intention you set and the direction you're moving toward.
Intentions don’t always grow overnight. Just like the moon, they take time to slowly come into form.
